WELCOMEHi. My name is Caleb Wilde. I founded and fund this space. I'm a funeral director and a writer (I wrote the book "Confessions of a Funeral Director" and I run the website under my name, www.CalebWilde.com). It's occurred to me that we want to talk about death, but it's difficult for a number of reasons. Death is isolating. It's vulnerable. It's hard to put into words. And it's too often filled with cliches that stop conversations before the conversation even gets started. This is a space for those of us that want to talk about death without superficial cliches. It's a place for death sharing. It's a place that's accepting of all experiences, perspectives and mystical creatures. It's not a place for assholes, cliche mongers and those who like to judge. |
